When I launched Rallly Pro, finalizing a poll was the headline feature. Pick a date, send out calendar invites, done. It's now free for everyone.
Finalize on every plan
Click Finalize in the poll header and you'll see your options ranked by popularity, with a breakdown of who can make each one. Pick the date that works best.

Next, choose who to notify. Everyone who left an email address is selected, and you can untick anyone you'd rather tell yourself.

Everyone you select gets an email with a calendar invite. If you added a video call to your poll, the link is created when you finalize and included in the invite. Google Meet works on every plan, and Microsoft Teams and Webex are available on Pro.

Why I'm making this change
I've spent a lot of time this year thinking about what a fair pricing model for Rallly looks like. I want Rallly to stay genuinely useful for free, because that's how most people find it and how it spreads. Someone organizes a dinner, their friends vote, and a few of them go on to use it for their own plans. But I also need Rallly to be sustainable so I can keep working on it and shipping improvements.
Finalizing never felt like the right thing to charge for. It's the step that turns a poll into an actual event, and without it the free plan stopped just short of doing its job. The people who get the most out of Rallly are the ones who use it to schedule a lot, often as part of their work, so that's where I'd rather draw the line.
Open poll limits
From now on, what separates the plans is how many polls you can have open at the same time. Without an account you can have one open poll. A free account can have three. Pro has no limit.
You can still create as many polls as you like, and there's no limit on participants or options. A poll stops counting as soon as you finalize or close it, and polls close on their own once their dates have passed. If you organize the odd team meeting or get together, you'll probably never notice.
If you're running several polls at once, Pro removes the limit and gives you everything else Pro has to offer, like email invites, custom branding and video calls with Teams and Webex. Every subscription goes straight back into building Rallly.
What's next
This is part of a bigger effort to make Rallly better for everyone, whether you pay or not. The longer term goal is a free plan where you can try everything Rallly has to offer, with Pro there for when you're scheduling at a volume where it makes sense.
I'll be keeping a close eye on how these changes land and I'll adjust them if something isn't working. If the limit gets in your way, or you have thoughts on how pricing should work, I'd really like to hear from you at feedback@rallly.co.
Thanks for your continued support.
Happy scheduling :)
